Jimmy L Otts, age 65, of Woodland, died Saturday, December 19 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Funeral services were held Monday, December 21 at Houston Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Wesley Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Oren Vance officiating.
The son of the late Robert Houston Otts and the late Carrie Abigail Dudley, he was a retired employee of Houston Ceramic Tile Company. He was born in Lamar County, Alabama and had lived in Chickasaw County most of his life.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Annie Hall Otts of Woodland; one daughter, Mrs. Jimmie Dale Kendall of Woodland; one stepson, Eugene McGraw of Houston; two sisters, Mrs. Polly Austin of Verona and Miss Imogene Otts of Saltillo; six brothers, L J Otts of Belden, Raymond Otts of Algoma, John Otts of Tupelo, Shield Otts of Saltillo, Junior Otts of Randolph and Billy Otts of Ripley; one stepson, Rufus Gray of Hobbs, New Mexico; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bobby Bridgeman, Mike Slaughter, Donald Watson, Wayne Hall, Travis Lancaster and Curtis Lancaster.
Houston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
