Mrs. Jimmie Dale Otts James, 63, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford. Born March 9, 1956, in Vardaman, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Jimmy Otts and Annie Hall Otts.

Mrs. Jimmie graduated from Houston High School, and was a member of New Providence Baptist Church where she dedicated her time as choir director for many years. On January 20, 1990, she married Randall James, and they have enjoyed 29 years together. She loved cooking and baking cakes for her family. She also loved being outdoors whether it was tending to her flowers, gardening, or fishing. She loved to travel and go on vacations, and loved keeping up with her friends and family on Facebook. Her family and friends will miss her deeply, but they know that she has been healed, and is now in the arms of Jesus.
