William Klingerman, 59, 413 7th Street, this city, died Saturday evening at the Hazleton State Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Plymouth, June 23, 1898,he was the son of the late Samuel and Elizabeth Wilkinson Klingerman.
He was employed at the Hazleton Shaft Colliery and was a member of the United Mine Workers until his retirement in 1954.
In addition to Mrs. Ada LeGrande, a sister with whom he lived, one brother, Clyde, this city, survives.
Private funeral services will be held in the Bachman Brothers Funeral Home Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Freeland Cemetery.
Rev. Jesse K, Gunder will officiate. Friends may call this evening at the funeral home.
