CLARENCE BISSELL DIES IN MILFORD; RITES WEDNESDAY Funeral services will be held in West Haven Wednesday for Clarence W. Bissell, of 568 Plains Road, Milford, who died yesterday.

The Rev. Dr. Edwin A. Hartney pastor of the First Methodist Church of West Haven, will conduct the funeral service in the Funeral Home of Seth N. Taylor, 365 Main Street, West Haven, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, also in West Haven.

Mr. Bissell was born in Seymour April 22, 1864. He resided in West Haven for many years before moving to Milford. He was a member of the West Haven Firemen's Benevolent Association and Wilmot Lodge of the Knights of Pythias.

Members of Engine Company 1 will assemble in central fire headquarters in West Haven tomorrow night at 7 o'clock, and from that point will go to the Taylor Funeral Home to pay last respects to their departed associate. Uniforms will be in order if any firemen care to wear them.

Wilmot Lodge of the Knights of Pythias will conduct services in the funeral home tomorrow night.

A retired machinist, Mr. Bissell leaves a daughter, Mrs. Elsie Wheeler of Milford.
