Diane Shimek, age 74 of Reedsville, died unexpectedly on Thursday April 20, 2017 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay. She was born on September 7, 1942 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Irvin Raymond Reindl and Viola Rose (Schneider) Reindl. On December 21, 1984, Diane married Ray Shimek. She worked as a CPA for various businesses in the area. She was an excellent cook, and loved to camp, hunt and fish, and was very active in Ducks Unlimited and the Maribel Sportsman's Club for many years. She loved the Packers, Brewers, and Badgers. Diane and Ray were very generous in supporting the Salvation Army and it's outreach programs over the past 15 years. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. Survivors include her husband Ray, her children, Troy Lampereur and special friend Cindi Kuffel of Whitelaw, Dean (Stephanie) Lampereur of Arizona, Randy (Shelly) Lampereur of Whitelaw, Todd Lampereur and special friend Sandy of Two Rivers, Kari (Richard) Gandt of Gillett, Leah Kershek of Reedsville, Brad (Amanda) Shimek of Brillion and Brenda (Keith) Buchholz of Chilton, 17 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, her sisters and brothers, Sue (Ron) Poehls, Yvonne Prey and special friend Mark, John Henry (Sher) Reindl, Kristine Mc Coninghen, Kay (Kevin) Austin, Jannelle (Jim) Painter, Joseph Reindl, Mike (Ann) Reindl, Richard (Carol) Reindl, Robbie (Bonnie) Reindl, Bill Reindl, the father of Diane's children, Terry Lampereur of Collins and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Pam. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday April 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. The Rev. Timothy Brandt will officiate. Burial will be in Knollwood Cemetery, Manitowoc.
