He graduated from Jefferson Medical College in 1880, and practiced the profession of medicine in Hammonton for two years with signal success, giving up the same for the profession of dentistry, taking the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Philadelphia Dental College in 1883.
He located in Atlantic City in the spring of that year, and has by skill and attention built up the largest and most lucrative practice in South Jersey.
