Florence Gleason, 91, of Pine Grove, passed away on Wednesday at Schoolyard Square, Pine Grove.
Born on Nov. 1, 1925, in the Bronx, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Irving and Bessie Germansky Lilienfield.
She was a 1942 graduate of James Monroe High School in the Bronx. She was a member of the Hookers knitting and crocheting club, at Swatara Village.
Florence worked as a clerical supervisor for the City of New York.
Preceding her in death were her husband, James J. Gleason, and a brother, Harold Lilienfield.
Surviving are her daughter, Bunny and husband, Stan Zukowski, Lebanon; a sister, Phyllis Erdtrachter, the Bronx; nieces and nephews.
All services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Calverton National Cemetery, Long Island, N.Y. H.L. Snyder Funeral Home, Pine Grove, is in charge of arrangements. You may send condolences to the family at www.hlsnyderfuneralhome.com.
