Betty (Miller) Rudolph was born on March 5, 1927 in Clarksville, Tennessee, the daughter of Jack Miller and Louise ( -- ) Miller.
She loved Clarksville, Tennessee, and as a lifelong resident she was a Clarksville High School cheerleader and Austin Peay Homecoming Queen. At the University of Tennessee she was a member of Chi Omega Fraternity and a ROTC sponsor where, as she always said, she was hopelessly out of step. She was a member of Madison Street United Methodist Church and a member of the Blue Class Sunday School.
Betty was married to Matt Henry Rudolph Jr (1920-2006) and was a loving mother, kind to others, had a beautiful smile and was always elegant and gracious. She was beautiful both inside and out, and she loved to be with people and and an unforgettable laugh.
Her last years kept her mostly at home, but she was blessed to have the love and extraordinary care from a band of five angels. Betty kept them alternately laughing and exasperated.
She was still living in Clarksville, and was 90 years old when she passed away at home on May 4, 2017.
Predeceased in death by her parents, her brother Frank Perkins Miller, her husband and by her son Matt Henry Rudolph III, she was survived by a married son married daughter, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held at Madison Street Methodist Church, and burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
