The funeral services of Charley Stanley of Soldier were conducted at the home near Soldier Wednesday April 22. Mr. Stanley met his death by accident in the mines of the Ashland Fire Brick Company. He was seriously injured April 20, a piece of slate falling on him and was immediately rushed to an Ashland hospital, but died before reaching there. He is a married man and leaves a wife and children beside many other near relatives and friends. Interment took place in the local cemetery immediately following the funeral.
