LeRoy Douglas Johnson, 87, returned to our loving Father in Heaven after completing a long and productive earthy journey on May 5, 2017.
LeRoy was born on October 15, 1929 to Margaret Mary Dornberger and Arthur Rasmus Johnson in Union, Utah.
He grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and in his retirement years moved to Saint George, Utah.
Welcoming him on the other side is Virginia, his first wife, Sharon his daughter, parents, siblings and other loved ones.
He will be greatly missed by Carol, his second wife, and all of his children.
Funeral services will be Friday, May 12th and 11:00 am at the Santa Clara 15th Ward - 3680 Pioneer Parkway, St George, Utah.
Friends may call at the church 10:00-10:45 am prior to service or Thursday evening, May 11th from 6:30-8:30pm.
A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 13th at 1:00pm at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
A special thanks to the neighbors who came to Roy and Carol's aid the day of his passing and the many medical professionals who have cared for Roy over the years.
