Daughter of John Franklin and Alice (Peaver) Logan, Marie appears in early records under her nickname, "Minnie."

She was enumerated as "Minnie D." with her parents and siblings on the 1900 federal census at Edwards, in Ravelli County, Montana.

As "Minnie D." Logan, she first married Canadian-born civil engineer Harry Douglas at Missoula, MT on 28 Aug 1905. They were enumerated on the 1910 census at Missoula with Marie's only child, Madeline Alice Douglas, then aged 4 years old.

As "Minnie D. Douglas," she filed for divorce from Harry, alleging he intended to abandon her and their daughter, Madaline Alice. Her petition was granted 12 Sep 1911 in Ravalli County, where she had filed.

As "Minnie D. Douglas," she next married Henry 'Harry' A. Hughes at Hamilton, MT on 15 Jun 1912.

She divorced him in Ravalli County on 05 Feb 1915, alleging failure to support her. Her divorce decree stated they had no children, and granted her the property he owned in that county in lieu of alimony.

Despite having had her maiden name restored in her second divorce, as "Marie Douglas" she married her third husband, Ferdinand R. Osborne, at Missoula on 29 Mar 1919.

They were enumerated in Ravalli County, MT on the 1920 census, but had removed to Portland, Oregon by 1930.

On 13 Apr 1964 at nearby Vancouver in southern Washington State, she and Ferdinand were remarried, their license stating the ceremony was for legal purposes. On that document, she gave her birthplace as Stuart, Montana and Ferdinand listed his as Corvallis, Montana which is the same information he disclosed on his WWI draft registration form.

Oregon death records reveal that Marie died at Portland.
