Albert Winfred Arnett md. Mary Ann Kilgore June 2, 1842
My husband and I ran upon this grave box while on a turkey hunting trip on our leased land off of Sandtown rd in Wilkes County GA. There were also near by a few river stones that may or may not have been grave markers. We took a rubbing from the top of the engraved stone and we were immediately touched and intrigued by the lovely poem written on top.
"This lovely bud so young and fair, Called home by early doom. Just came to show how sweet a flower in Paradise might bloom."
We made this memorial because we wanted her to be remembered and in hopes that we may learn more about this little light snuffed out too soon.
