Mrs. James G Allen, resident of 4102 Seminole, died Friday (May 4th) afternoon at the University Hospital after an extended illness. She was a former resident of Clinton and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. She is proceeded in death by her husband J. G. Allen (1959). She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Ola Batton and Mrs. Bessie Shelton both of Jackson and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted at the Baldwin Chapel. Dr. J. H. Tuten officiating.
