Mrs. Shirley McNair Acoxs (Aycock), 76, of Ford, VA; died Tuesday, at home.
Mrs. Acoxs, born in Lumberton, NC; was the daughter of the late Luther and Alice McNair and was preceded by her soul mate, Wiley "Manboy" Jackson; a daughter, Shirley Aycock, former husband, Billie Lee Aycock; sister, Ruth McNair and long-time devoted sister-friend, Ester Jackson Fulgham.
She was a member of Mount Poole Baptist Church in Ford, VA. She was a caregiver to Manboy's mother, the late Eller Thomas Jackson. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, playing dominos and looking at TV.
