Betty J. (Yost) Grove, 79, of York, died at 11:45 a.m. Friday at York Hospital. She was the wife of Jesse F. Grove, who died May 25, 1984.
The service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Grace United Methodist Church, 37 N. Broad St., York. Burial will follow in Mount Zion Cemetery. There will be no viewing. The Workinger-Semmel Funeral Home Inc., 849 E. Market St., York, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Grove was born Nov. 19, 1920, in Hancock, Md. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Rosa (Robinette) Yost.
She was a factory worker at various factories in the York area for several years. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in York and American Association of Retired Persons.
Mrs. Grove is survived by a son, Robert E. Grove of York; a daughter, Christine J. Sahms of Portsmouth, R.I.; two grandchildren; and a brother, Paul O. Yost of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Arthur D. Shotts.
