Mr. Lawrence was born
Dec. 19, 1920, in Christian
County to Ray and Margaret
(Baker) Lawrence. He married
Margaret Rammelt on Nov. 1,
1969, in Mendota.
He served in the U.S. Army
during World War II in the
Pacific Theater of Operations.
He was employed by Del
Monte Corp. in Mendota for
32 years before retirement.
He was a member of First
Presbyterian Church and an
elder of the church.
Survivors include his wife,
Margaret of Mendota; two
sons, John (Claudia) Lawrence
of Champaign and Philip
(Sarah) Clark of Norfolk, Va.;
two daughters, Diane (David)
Eddy of Sherrill, Iowa and
Luann Clark of Fullerton,
Calif.; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death
by his parents.
Memorials may be directed
to the family.
