Born May 21, 1944, in Randolph County, Mr. Asbill was the son of the late Stacy William and Ruth Moran Asbill. He had worked for many years as a salesman for Vestal Ford and was the owner of Montgomery Ford until hi retired in 2014. After retirement, he worked part time at Asheboro Ford.
Harold was always appreciative of the family, friends and customers who supported him over the years. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion, kindness and a caring heart for all.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Asbill was preceded in death by his wife, Linda McNeill Asbill, sisters, Wilma Asbill, Edna Hayes, Elsie Kiser, and brother, Paul Asbill.
Survivors include his daughters, Stacy Asbill McDowell and husband, Bryan, of Seagrove, Melissa Asbill Skoglund and husband, Jamie, of Asheboro; sisters, Betty Macon and husband, Bob, of Seagrove, Jeanette Reeder and husband, Winford, of Asheboro; sister-in-law, Glenda Asbill, of Asheboro; brothers, Clyde Asbill, Wade Asbill and wife, Ether all of Seagrove, Boyce Asbill and wife, Betty, of Asheboro, Donald Asbill and wife, Margie, of Seagrove; grandchildren, Hillary McDowell Bunting and husband, Aaron, Emily Skoglund; mother-in-law, Conie Boone McNeill, of Seagrove; and many loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 1, 2017, at Ridge Funeral Home, Asheboro.
