Mitchell, Doris Bryant

Mitchell, Doris Bryant age 83, of Colonial Heights, died Wednesday, April 12, 1995 in Southside Regional medical Center, Petersburg.

A native of Greensville County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Ernest Bryant and Carrie Chitty Bryant.

She was a member of the Wesley Galilean Bible Class at Wesley United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Mitchell is survived by two sons, James Naff (Jim) Mitchell of Newport News and Benton Bryant (Bubba) Mitchell of Colonial Heights; three sisters, Delia Mae Faison and Fairy Grizzard both of Emporia and Thelma Draper of Potecasi, NC; two brothers, Henry Clyde Bryant of Newport News and Bernard Bryant of Emporia. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p. m. on Friday at Wesley United Methodist Church, Colonial Heights. Reverend Norwood Montgomery will officiate. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday at the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home, Colonial Heights. Flowers are welcome or contributions may be made to the Wesley United Methodist Church Building Fund, 3701 N. Conduit Road, Colonial Heights, VA 23834 in memory of Doris B. Mitchell.
