ADA BABB WILLIAMS.

SHREVEPORT - Services for Mrs. Ada Babb Williams, 84, of Shreveport, will be held at 11 a. m. Saturday, December 21 at the Wellman Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Robert E. Manning, pastor of Parkview Baptist church, where Mrs. Williams was a member, will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery.

Visitation: 4 p.m. Friday until service time Saturday at Wellman's.

Mrs. Williams died Wednesday, December 18, 1985, at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas after a brief illness. She was born in Leon County, Texas and had been a resident of Shreveport for 56 years. Mrs. Williams was retired as a school teacher and was prominent in the Womens Mission Union.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ann Morris, a son-in-law, James B. Morris and three grandsons, Stanley Morris, Stephen Morris and Stacen Morris, of Rockwall, Texas; one great-niece, Becky Alexander of Plano, Texas; one great-nephew, Tommy Alexander of Dallas, Texas; one nephew, Jack Alexander, of Kerrville, Texas.

Pallbearers: James B. Morris, Stan Morris, Steve Morris, Stacen Morris, Jack Alexander, Tommy Alexander.

Family requests memorials be made to American Heart Association.

The marriage of Miss Ada Babb to Mr. Grover Williams was solemnized at 8 o'clock on the evening of Thursday, October 18, in the home of the Rev. and Mrs. B. F. Wallace on Claiborne avenue.

The bride is a sister of Mrs. Howard Williams of this city, is a former student at Centenary college.

Mr. Williams is the son of Mrs. Julia Williams of Shreveport and for some years has been affiliated with the B. F. Peyton Drug company.

The young couple are residing at 2625 West College street.

*Gomer and Howard Williams were brothers who married sisters: Gomer married Ada Babb and Howard married Olive Babb.
