Funeral services were held for Mary Ruth Bexley, 68, October 11, 1998, at 2:30 p.m. from the George County Funeral Home Chapel.
A native of New Albany and a member of the Baptist faith, she died October 10.
She is survived by her husband, Vernon Bexley; her mother, Irene Whiteside; a daughter, Margaret (Mitchell) Dixon; four sisters, Martha Zoller, Marilyn Camp, Sharon Ann Burt and Deverlin Forsyth; three brothers, Melvin Willard, Billy Wayne Willard and Hubert Willard; five stepbrothers; and two grandchildren, Daniel and Carmen Dixon.
Services were officiated by Rev. Benson Bexley and Rev. Nell Maki.
Interment was held at Northside Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Lloyd Bexley, Bud West, Stanley Eubanks, Charles Bexley, Martin West and Pete Pierce.
