East Roxand - This community was shocked Saturday morning to hear of the death of Clyde Boyer, which occurred Friday night at his home at one o'clock. His death was caused from scarlet fever and the effects of blood poisoning in his foot.

There was no funeral held on account of the rest of the family being ill with scarlet fever. Burial took place Sunday at one o'clock In Mulliken cemetery with a short service at the grave.

He leaves a wife and four children to mourn his loss. The family have the deepest sympathy of the community.
