Alice I. (Robbins) Locke, age 88, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born December 5, 1928 to Roy and Bessie Robbins in Lafayette, IN. Alice moved to Jacksonville in 1957 where she worked as a private secretary. She retired from the Chrysler Corporation in 1990. Alice loved to read and especially spend time with her family. As a young person, she loved to dance. She is a breast cancer survivor since 1996. Alice is preceded in death by her husband Robert Miller, twin siblings Gene and Joan and her son Bobby Miller. She is survived by her daughters Jackie (Jim) Rojas, Vickie (Richard) Evert, two brothers George (Vera), Jim (Wanda), five grandchildren Tina, Nikki, Carol, Bobby, Ricky, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandsons. Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205 is serving the family. A visitation for friends will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Funeral services to be held at the funeral home on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 11:00am with interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
