Peggy lived a simple life caring for her family. She was a member of Cramerton Free Will Baptist Church. Her goal in life was for her children to grow up knowing and trusting Christ for their savior. She never sent us to church, rather she took us and lived an example in front of us. Mom was kind and always had room for our friends. Peggy and her sisters cared for their aging parents which taught us to care for her and dad when it was our time. She will be missed and our lives will have an emptiness only God can fill. We will have a heavenly reunion someday trusting in Jesus, because she taught us all about him. Mom truly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and their parents were faithful to bring them to spend time with her. Her happiness was in her church family and her family, now she has a heavenly family. Love you Mom!
Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Tony Hardin and wife, Barbara of Belmont; Mark Hardin and wife, Kim of Gastonia; sisters, Gail Eppley and husband, Richard; Daphne Byers and husband, Dewey; Francis Pattey; grandchildren, Charlie Hardin and wife, April; Chris Hardin; Jason Hardin and wife, Codi; Matthew Hardin; Taylor and Shelby Ellington; Alli Phillips and great-grandchildren, Jaden and Zuri Hardin and Marley Fischer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hardin; brothers, Darriel, Joseph, Arnold and Odius Bolick; and sisters, Pauline Hedrick, Ruby Rhyne, Louise Elrod and Lorene Hogsed.
