Ralph G. Johnson, 76, of 376 S. Seminary St., died Thursday at 6 p.m. at St. Mary's Hospital. He had been an International Harvester Co. machinist until retiring in 1960.
He was born in Henry County on Dec. 19, 1896. He was a member of Emmanuel Methodist Church and Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Surviving are three sons, Kenneth R. and Roland D. of Galesburg and Max R. of Memphis, Tenn.; a sister, Mrs. Rose Shroyer of Rock Island, and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Chapel, where friends may call Sunday evening. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers were Joe Scheneler, Guy Trulock, C.A. Sharick, Forrie Cherrington, Carl Stoff and Lyle Roach.
