Martha (Elder) Bohannon of Valley Station died at Humana Hospital Southwest at the age of 92.

She retired from Stewart's Dry Goods Company.

She was survived by her brothers, Pat Elder of St. Louis, Missouri, Merrell Elder of Jacksonville, Florida, and Al Elder; and her sisters, Molly Holt of Birmingham, Alabama, and Clementine Bryan of St. Louis, Missouri.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 15, 1988 at the W.G. Hardy Valley Funeral Home with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
