Mrs. Martha M. Bogard passed away Saturday evening, Sept. 26, 1970, at St. Luke's Hospital after a lengthy illness. Age 59 years. Martha Marion Dubay was born March 17, 1911, in Saginaw and resided here all of her life. She was married to Frank T. Bogard June 2, 1934. He survives her. She was a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church, its Altar Society, and the League of Catholic Women. Surviving besides her husband are two sons and two daughters, Timothy Bogard with the U.S. Army; Duane W. Bogard; Mrs. Karen Jarzabkowski, Saginaw; Mrs. Walter (Roberta) Graveline, Bay City; three grandchildren; three brothers and seven sisters, Roman; Sylvester; and Edward Dubay; Mrs. Irene Hoffman, Sr.; Mrs. Robert Miller; Mrs. Vern Marden; and Mrs. Steven Nizinski, all of Saginaw; Mrs. John Tyler, Sr., St . Charles; Mrs. James Sykes; and Mrs. Albert Sezytowiecz, both of Jackson.
Funeral service will take place 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the McIntyre Chapel, 11 a.m. at St. Stephen's Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Mason Vaughn will officiate, with burial in St. Andrew's Cemetery. Friends may call at the cahpel where they will meet with relatives 7:30 p.m. Monday, for a Bible Wake Service.
