Sczykutowicz (Dubay), Marion Edith

Peacefully passed away at Bethany Adult Care on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at the age of 98. She was born on June 30, 1922 in Saginaw, Michigan to William and Edith Dubay. Marion is survived by her four children, nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and her sister. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Alphonse and her six sisters, Gertrude Nizinski, Florence (Obuchowski) Sykes, Martha Bogard, Irene Hoffman, Leona Tyler, and Dorothy Miller; three brothers, Sylvester Dubay, Edward Dubay, and Roman Dubay; and grandsons, Michael Harrington, Troy Garver, and Robert Drongowski Jr.

Mom worked at Aeroquip for 46 years, retiring in 1988. She was proud of the fact that she held the clock number 0002 on the seniority list. Mom enjoyed her life by attending church services, going for country rides on warm days, eating out, playing Bingo, and spending time with her family and friends. For the last 4½ years, Marion has enjoyed residing at Bethany Adult Care. She especially liked playing Bingo, sitting in the sun on the patio and enjoying meals with her friends. Our family appreciates all the love, care and compassion of all the staff during her stay at Bethany. A special thanks to Dr. Lynn VanWagnen for his years of keeping mom healthy and to Elara Hospice for their help during mom’s final days.
