Loretta (Cole) Keith, 86, El Dorado Springs, was born Sept. 12, 1920, in Cedar Co MO the daughter of Leslie and Ivy Cahill Cole. She passed away Thursday evening, Feb. 22, 2007, at Research Medical Center, Kansas City MO.
Loretta was a beautiful woman with a beautiful soul. She never said a cross word about anyone or anything. She lived a long and wonderful life for 86 years and thaught her children, grandchildren, and even great-grandchildren a lot about life and working to make an honest living. She loved everyone and everything, no matter what trials and tribulations may have befallen her.
Loretta had loving friends who could and would help her when family wasn't close enough to help. But through it all, she never stopped fighing. Loretta fought to the very end. She was a tough woman. Of that, her family and friends were all proud to know.
Loretta left this world peacefully and without shame for anything she ever did. That takes more than heart. She would take you in, feed you and help in anyway she could without reservations. She raised everyone in her family at some point - kids, grandkids, great-grandkids and nephews.
Loretta was a lady of honor and devotion. She exteded that to everyone, not just family. You cannot go into a store without someone who knew her who tells you how sweet and loving her heart really was without trying.
Loretta will be missed and loved by all. She left an impression on the hearts and souls of everyone she touched. Don't remember her for the way she is, but for the way she was. She would want everyone to carry on and pass on to the children and grandchildren the way she lived and loved a carefree life.
Preceding Loretta in death were her husband Ray and sons Donald and Harrison. Services were held Monday afternoon. Feb. 26, at Hackleman Chapel, El Dorado Springs. Interment was in the Old Union Cemetery under the direction of the Hackleman and Sons Funeral Home.
