Avis Marie Adamson, 81, of Brazil, IN passed away at 1:55 pm on Friday, June 23, 2017 at her residence.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday June 27th 2017 at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Toledo, IL. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday evening at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in the Friends Grove Cemetery rural Toledo.
Avis was born on November 15, 1935 in Toledo, IL to Dwight and Stella (Sparks) Moses. She married Forrest Eddie Adamson on June 14, 1953. He preceded her in death on January 20, 2014.
Surviving are their children Stephen (Christine) Adamson of Frankfort, IN, Stanley (Diane) Adamson of Brazil, IN, Lisa (Frank) Robbins of Lexington, KY and Joy (David) Warner of Brazil, IN; Sisters Marrietta Haverkamp of Terre Haute, IN and Marla Krosschell of Buckeye, Ariz.; Brothers Roscoe Moses of Greenup, Harve Moses of Toledo and Ray Moses of Greenup; Grandchildren Stephanie (Matthew) Thomas of Carlsbad, NM, Rebecca Adamson of Frankfort, IN, Kendra Adamson or Cincinnati, OH, John (Tonya) Adamson and Jerry (Stephanie) Adamson, all of Brazil, IN, Jaime Robbins and Jenifer Robbins of Lexington, KY and Heather Warner of Brazil, IN; Great Grandchildren Alastair Thomas, Justina Yocum and Orion Thomas ; many nieces and nephews.
Avis was preceded in death by her parents, Brothers Everett and Duane Moses; Sisters Annis Hanley, Phyllis Modesitt, Sylvia Brandenburg and Geraldine Lovett.
Avis was a homemaker and was an avid Bowler.
