Brazil, In. Mrs. Phyliss J. Modesitt, formly of Toledo,Il.died unexpectly at 12:05pm Friday at the Post Hospital, Fort Benjamin Harrison. She and her husband, Staff Sgt. Robert W. Modesitt, had resided on the base the last 26 months. Besides the husband she is survived by two daughters, Theresa and Wanetta, and a son Curtis, all at home: her father, Dwight Moses, Toledo, Il,two brothers, Duane, Mattoon, Il, and Everett, Chicago and five sisters, Mrs. Anis Hanley,Greenup,Il,Mrs. Marietta Haverkamp, Mrs Gerladine Lovett, and Mrs Avis Adamson, all of Brazil, and Mrs Aileen Brandenburg, Chicago, and the maternal grandmother, Mrs Elnora Sparks, Toledo, Il. Services will be at 2pm Monday at the Lawson Funeral Home, with the Rev. E.F. Urbahns officiating. Burial will be in Clerview Cemetery. Friends may call after 4pm Sunday.
