Very Reverend Stanley Skrzypek was born in Pustynia-Kozlow, Poland and graduated from the Panstwowe Liceum in Krakow, Poland in 1952. He furthered his divinity training at the Theological Institute of Krakow in 1956, and Savanarola Theological Seminary in Scranton, Pennsylvania in 1958. After completion of his theological studies Father Stanley was ordained a priest in the Polish National Catholic Church in 1959 by Bishop Leon Grochowski. Later Father Stanley was given the title of Father Senior in 1972 by Bishop Anthony M. Rysz. At the time of his death, he was pastor of Saints Peter and Paul Polish National Catholic Church, Passaic, New Jersey and was the devoted husband of Frances A. (nee Pilzys) Skrzypek. Funeral Mass was held at Saints Peter and Paul Polish National Catholic Church, Passaic and was officiated by
the Right Reverend Bernard Nowicki, DD, Bishop of the Central Diocese of the Polish National Catholic Church, the Most Rev. Dr. Anthony Mikovsky, Prime Bishop of the Polish National Catholic Church and the Most Reverend John Swantek, Prime Bishop Emeritus.
