SANDUSKY — Archie Dafoe, 75, resident of Port Huron the last 10 years and formerly of the Snover area, died Sunday in Port Huron Hospital after an extended illness.

He was born in Sanilac County, in January 1886. Mr. Dafoe married Janie Colgan. She died in 1935.

He is survived by three sons, Wilford and Elgin Dafoe, both of Port Huron; and Harry Dafoe, Lexington; five daughters, Mrs. Roy Loomis, Imlay City; Mrs. Jessie Richter, Barryton, Mich.; Mrs. Harry Leporis, Port Huron; Mrs. William Molesworth, Croswell, and Mrs. Earl Dibble, Caro; a sister, Mrs. Laura Germain, who lives in Michigan, and 38 grandchildren.

Remains are in Hacker Funeral Parlors where funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday by Rev. Andrew Counterman, Port Huron. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery near Argyle.
