Walter T. Calder Was a son of William Albert and Mary Etter Terry Calder. He was a railroad worker then later worked in maintenance for apartment buildings.

He is survived by his wife; Mary Lucille Johnson Calder; one daughter, two grandchildren, two sisters; Gertrude Calder Hargis and Marie Calder Sweet; three brothers, Marvin, Curtis and Victor Calder.

He was Preceded in death by his parents; William A. and Mary E. Terry Calder; three sisters Dorothy Calder York, Sadie Calder Anderson and Mattie Calder; two brothers, Claude and Raymond Calder; grandparents, John Thomas and Sarah Young Calder.
