In 1737 Jonas Clark bought land for his son Thomas in Tewksbury. The area is now known as Clark Road and was annexed to Lowell in 1906. There are many Clark family members buried in the Hunt-Clark Cemetery in Lowell, and they are all decendents of Jonas Clark and his wife Elizabeth (Howe) Clark.
