A resident of Baton Rouge, she passed away Saturday, Aug. 27, 2005, at Summit Hospital. She was 88. Visiting at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., on Wednesday, Aug. 31, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting at Florida Boulevard Baptist Church from noon Friday, Sept. 2, until service at 2 p.m. Interment in Redwood Cemetery, Slaughter. She is survived by her daughters, Jessie Bourgoyne and husband John of Baton Rouge, Marilyn Jones and husband Lloyd of Houston, Carolyn Jones and husband Donald of Baton Rouge, Sara Boulos and husband Riad of Coral Springs, Fla., Julia Nelson and husband Patrick of Baton Rouge, and Mary Andrews of Baton Rouge; son, Arthur Howell Andrews and wife Elaine of Baton Rouge; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Arthur C. Andrews and Capt. Reuben F. Ruiz. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Cliff Shrader, Donnie Jones, Brent Jones, Philippe Boulos, Michael Boulos, Hunter Andrews, John Bourgoyne and Fred Ruiz Jr. She was a member of Eastern Star and Florida Boulevard Baptist Church.
