Benjamin Felthoff was born in Barks county, Pa., July 25, 1825 and died at his home in this county, August 21, 19O7. He united with the Church of God when he was still a young man and lived in that faith until his death. Mr. Felthoff was united in marriage to Charlotte Bennett in 1853 and to this union were born twelve children of which six have preceded their father to the other world. The wife and the other six children are left to mourn the death of a man who has lived a noble life and one who will be greatly missed by his many friends and neighbors in the community in which he lived. The funeral services were held in the U. B. church at Ockley last Thursday afternoon, Rev. S. O. Goodriot preaching the discourse. The remains were enterred in the Pyrmont cemetery.
