Graveside services for Kathryn Whittington Browder will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, July 31, 2017 at Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens. Rev. Nathan Luellen will officiate under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
Kathryn was born April 21, 1936 in West Monroe and passed away July 27, 2017 in Calhoun. She was a retired deputy with the Clerk of Court in Webster Parish and was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. Kathryn was preceded in death by parents, William and Nancy Whittington; husband, Cloyd Dewayne Browder; 3 brothers and 8 sisters; son-in-law Ron Savanna; daughter-in-law, Georgia Ann Browder; brother-in-law, Johnny Hebert.
Kathryn is survived by sister, Mildred Joyce Deason; children; Vicky Browder Takewell, Dennis Wayne Browder, Rita Browder Savanna; grandchildren; Scott Savanna, Jennifer Shoemaker and husband Andrew, Jared Takewell, Jessica Roberts and husband Richard, Courtney Browder; great-grandchildren; Troy Savanna, Cameron Shoemaker, Ryland Taylor, Colbie Thompson and Caitlyn Roberts; sister-in-law, Katherine Hebert; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Troy Savanna, Chad Hebert, Curtis Corbin, Freddie Brown, Eric Bryan and Scott Savanna. Honorary pallbearers will be John Paul Takewell and Terry Hebert.
A special thanks to Synergy Home Health, Heart of Hospice, Tonya Jackson and Linda Smith.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 30, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
