David Srubar, age 58, of West, passed away late Saturday night, July 29, 2017 at his residence.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West.

David was born September 9, 1958 in Austin, the son of Rosemary (Hromadka) and the late Roman Srubar. He attended St. Mary's School and was a 1977 graduate of West High School. On March 13, 2010 he was united in marriage to Lisa Corodova in West. Lisa preceded him in death on November 17, 2015.

David worked for Jupe Mills in West and previously worked for Fleet Mobile Homes in Waco, and operated his own business that set up mobile homes. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption.

Survivors include his mother, Rosemary Srubar; sons, Brandon Srubar and Chance Srubar; step children, Irma Linda Cruz, Zeferino Cruz Jr. and wife Patty and George Cruz and wife Angie; a sister, Susan Groholski and husband Dennis; a brother, Pat Srubar and wife Vicki; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
