Jerry was born in Marion, NC on October 25, 1949 to Claude C. and Marie Collis Glenn. He was married to Phyllis Frye Glenn for thirty-nine years. He was a builder but spent the last 30 plus years at Buck Stove. He designed and tested the stoves.
He was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis, and his father and mother Claude and Marie Glenn.
Jerry will be remembered as a kind, helpful, caring good man. He was soft spoken, patient with an easy smile, friendly mannerisms, helpful to all, quick to laugh and would do anything for you. He was also a devoted family man, faithful friend and good husband. His memory will bring smiles to our faces and love to our hearts.
Visitation will be at Webb Funeral home from 4:00 pm until 6:30 pm on Thursday, August 3, 2017 with the funeral service to follow at 6:30 pm. Burial will follow in the Spruce Pine Memorial Cemetery.
