Mrs. Dancer died July 24, 2016, at her home after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born Aug. 26, 1966, in Clarion, Pa., to the late Kenneth C. Daugherty and Joann (Fitzgerald) Daugherty.
She was a 1984 graduate of Clarion-Limestone High School. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from DuBois Business College.
Mrs. Dancer served in the U.S. Army from 1987 to 1990 in Germany as an administrator specialist. She was awarded the Army Service Ribbon, Army Commendation Medal and Overseas Service Ribbon.
She worked for Central Texas College since 1997 as a director of C&I Records. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Pamela enjoyed quilting, sewing, camping, baking and cooking and just being with her son and family and friends.
Survivors include her son, Thaddeus A. Dancer, and his fiancé, Abigail Cunnigham; her husband, Samuel A. Dancer of Killeen and four stepchildren; two brothers, Kenneth C. Daugherty Jr. and his wife, Sharon, of Strattanville, Pa., and Paul M. Daugherty of Strattanville, Pa., and his wife, Melissa of Summerville, Pa.; two sisters, Theresa J. Emery and her husband, Mathew, of Brookville, Pa., and Linda M. Preston of Strattanville, Pa.; two nieces; seven nephews; four great-nieces; four great-nephews; and numerous uncles and aunts.
