Born on March 7, 1965, in Clarion, he was the son of the late Kenneth C. and Joann V. (Fitzgerald) Daugherty. Paul was a 1985 graduate of Clarion-Limestone High School. Of all his classes, his favorite subjects were metal shops and the Future Farmers of America (FFA).
After graduation, Paul worked for Matson Lumber, holding many positions over several years. Paul also worked for Charles machine as a welder/fabricator.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa; his daughter, Ashley; his step-son Zachary; and his step-grandson, Landin. He is also survived by a brother, Kenneth C. Daugherty, Jr. and wife Sharon, of Fisher; and two sisters, Theresa J. Emery and husband Mathew, of Brookville, and Linda M. Preston, of Fisher; along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Pamela Dancer.
Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory, 330 Wood Street in Clarion where visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Kevin R. Haley of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in the Millcreek Presbyterian Cemetery.
