He was born September 21, 1921 in Brooklyn, New York to Chris Christiansen and Anna Anderson Christiansen. Arnold served in the United States Air Force during World War II and Korea, retiring after 22 plus years of service to his country.
He is survived by his children; Robert Christiansen, Nancy Ericksen, Ronald Christiansen and Lori Cade; fourteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Chris Christiansen.
