Revolutionary War Veteran. A native of Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts he served for the United States during the Revolutionary War. He emigrated to Hamilton County, Ohio and settled in Walnut Hills. He died at his when the area suffered from its first major cholera epidemic. He was 75 years old and was initially buried at Duck Creek Cemetery. His grave was later removed to Spring Grove Cemetery on June 19, 1872.
