Charles H. Null Sr., 84, of Manheim, died Sunday at Moravian Manor in Lititz after a lengthy illness.
He worked in the maintenance department of the former Howmet Inc., Lancaster, for 30 years, retiring in 1983.
A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, he served in the Pacific.
He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter and also enjoyed woodworking. Earlier in his life, he raised Boston bull terriers.
Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late George and Irene Shaub Null.
He was married to Lydia Packmore Null for 63 years in November.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, two sons, seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; a brother, and a sister.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Erma Montgomery.
