Stephen was born on September 11, 1954 in Gloversville to the late Forrest and Yona Valik Arnold.
He is survived by his beloved only daughter Christine (Jodi) Soltner, his cherished granddaughter Juliana Briggs and adored grandson Joshua Robbs and his special niece Jolene Johnson.
He is also survived by his siblings Janna Arnold (Ray), Joanna (Deb) Taylor, Besty (Dave) Lindsley, Frank (Cara) Arnold, Micki McClary, Gina (Mike) Poindexter, Philip (Donna) Arnold, David (Cindy) Arnold and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Stephen was predeceased by his wife Denise F.J. Arnold who passed on December 3, 2016, one sister Melissa Arnold and one niece Amy King.
He married his best friend Denise Frasier on July 28, 1973. Stephen worked at many area factories. Mr. Arnold was of the Christian faith. He loved spending time with his family around the campfires. Stephen loved to watch TCM old movies, history and politics. He loved spending time with grandbabies Joshua his buggyboy and Juliana his little NayNay. He also loved talking and debating politics with his daughter-in-law Jodi. Every Daddy loves his little girl and I was my Daddy’s little girl, I love my Daddy, I will truly miss him.
There will be no services or calling hours.
Cremation was at Vale Crematory, Schenectady.
