HARDINSBURG - Joseph Earl Fentress, 66, of Arlington, Va., died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1992, at the Hospice of Northern Virginia. He was born in Breckinridge County and was a retired civil service employee and a veteran of the Army. He was the son of the late Joseph Willis and Pauline Rose Fentress.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Myers Fentress; two sons, Gary Fentress of Atlanta and Gard Fentress of South Carolina; four grandchildren; a brother, Clinton Fentress of Leitchfield; three sisters, Mary Martin of Route 3, Hardinsburg, Lois Eckels of Erie, Pa., and Kathryn Fink of Grand Island, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Services are at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Axtel.
Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation after 2 p.m. Sunday at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, where prayers will be said at 6 p.m. Sunday.
