Taylor, Is Dead
William Magnus, 216 Oak St., Taylor, died Monday in Scranton State General Hospital after an illness.
Born in Taylor, son of the late William and Anna Magnus Kranakovich, he was employed as a manager for the Singer Sewing Co. in California before retirement. He was a member of St. Mary's Greek Catholic Church, Taylor, and served with the Army during World War II.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. John Rusinko, Taylor, and Mrs. Frank Killino, with whom he resided; a brother, Joseph Kranakovich, Australia.
The funeral will be Friday with mass in St. Mary s Church at 9:30 a m. Interment, parish cemetery. Rosary Thursday at 8 p.m.
