To Mrs. John Kiley
Funeral rites for Mrs. John Kiley, 63, who died at the Mesaba Clinic hospital Monday at 10 p.m. following an illness of two weeks, were held in the Chisholm Community church at 2 p.m. today with the Rev. George C. Saunderson officiating.
Born in Superior, Wis., Feb. 18, 1885 {sic], she graduated from St. Cloud Teachers college, and then taught school in Virginia prior to coming to Chisholm in 1920. The family resided at 37 Fraser. Mrs. Kiley was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Virginia and was active in the WCTU and the garden club.
Surviving are her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Bruce B. Estabrooks of Phoebus, Va., a son, Harry M. Kiley of Peoria, Ill.; three sisters, Mrs. Arden Gracie of Nashwauk, and Mrs. Hovey Lord and Mrs. C. W. Hill, both of Washington, D.C.; a brother, Harry Mills of Duluth, and one grandchild.
