Arnold Perry, 77, of Independence, Va., passed away Monday , Aug. 14, 2017, at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, N.C.
He was born Sept. 23, 1939, at Independence to John Robert Perry and Sylvia Dona Halsey Perry.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Krauss Perry of the home; son, Tony J. Perry of Independence; two brothers and spouse, John T. and Jean Perry and Buck Perry of Independence; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel, Independence, Va.
The Rev. Mike Montgomery will officiate.
Interment will be in Gold Hill Cemetery, Independence, Va.
