Her father died in Jackson County on April 14, 1891. He was survived by his widow and at least six daughters.
Lulu Lacy and Newton J Hull were united in marriage on November 28, 1889 in Bartholomew County. The license and certificate are recorded in Bartholomew county marriages 1886 - 1891 Volume 12 page 392.
Newton J Hull was apparently an older man, being about 70 years or so of age when they married.
They had five children - two girls and three boys during their marriage.
On April 5, 1899, they lost their daughter Grace Hull.
Less than a month later, on May 2, 1899, Newton Hull suffered a paralytic stroke and died at his home on North Mechanic St, Columbus.
The 1900 Federal census listed Lulu M Hull and her children Mamie Hull, aged 9; William J Hull, age 8; Edward W Hull, age 6; and Harry N Hull aged 2 living on Franklin St, Columbus.
Lulu Hull married Vincent Ivan Alexander, son of Armstrong J and Matilda Jane Bridges Alexander sometime after 1900 - perhaps around 1901 or so.

Mrs. Lulu Alexander died at her home on 1521 Union street Sunday morning at 3 o'clock, aged thirty-seven years. The funeral was held from the United Brethren church this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. G.M. Myers, and burial was in the Garland Brook cemetery.
Mrs. Alexander was a widow and she leaves three sons and a daughter. She was a sister of Mrs. Edward Lambert, of this city.
